These courses offer basic training for those wanting to learn the essentials of roofing using either slates, interlocking tiles or plain tiles. The courses are suitable for those with little or no experience, involved in Property Maintenance, Loft Conversions, Self-Builders, DIY Enthusiasts, and Trade Professionals such as Architects, Contract Managers and Estimators who would like to get hands-on experience. The courses generally run for 1 or 2 days (or longer if required, as they are tailored to your requirements).

Course materials
As the courses are practical, you will need to wear suitable work clothing and provide your own safety boots. We will provide all necessary tools, materials and further safety clothing/equipment for use at the South Coast Roof Training Centre.
Tea and coffee making facilities are available at the Centre, but you will need to bring your own lunch.

As a landlord, I was looking for an overview of good roofing practice and repair and to look at common issues and problems that can arise.
