Will I need to bring any tools or P.P.E.?

Tools:

  • Tools are supplied for all courses (pitched, flat, GRP, Lead, etc), although on pitched roof courses we encourage everyone to bring their own, as you will be more familiar with them and proceed through the courses much easier.
  • We encourage students on the CITB Apprenticeship Framework to bring their own tools as much as possible, this is to build confidence with their own tools and be more prepared for onsite work. (Click here for the suggested items for this course)

Personal Protective Equipment (P.P.E):

  • You will need to supply your own safety boots, safety boots must be worn in the workshop at all times, on all courses. (Companies must make all employees attending courses, aware of this health and safety rule).
